1.  A Threesome at one of greater Boston's best courses, WESTON COUNTRY CLUB, with one of our most generous, long time supporters, Jack Sommers.  While Jack's not much of a golfer, he's got an "A" game when it comes to the 19th hole so you better bring yours. $1200
2.  A threesome at one of the country's best, The Country Club, with your host and our good friend, Jim Hitchings. Winning bid includes 18 holes, caddies and 19th hole activities. Good for the 2010 golf season ONLY. Expensive and well worth it. $2000
3.  Threesome with Walter Donovan at Boston Golf Club, Boston's premiere golf course.  You'll enjoy a round of golf at architect Gil Hanse's gem in Hingham with noted sandbagger, but perenial good guy, Walter Donovan. $4500

5.  One week in spectacular Christmas Cove Maine.  Three bedroom house with deluxe chefs kitchen, 5 bathrooms with a large loft, decks almost on top of the water, huge stone fireplace--no detail has been left out of this stunning house in the heart of Christmas Cove.  With remarkable views, the house sits feet from the ocean on a peninsula ending where the Damariscotta River meets the Ocean.  You're a short drive to historic Pemaquid Point Lighthouse & beach to the north and Boothbay Harbor to the south, with golf 10 miles away. You wont believe this place until you see it--it's really incredible.  Thanks to the generosity of Trum and Vera Van Middlesworth (Vera is the architect) their house is available for a week this summer to be mutually agreed upon (Friday to Friday) but not to include a long weekend.  No pets allowed.  Private boat tour of the region is included!  If you've ever considered taking the family on a summer vacation in Maine, this is the auction item for you. 6.  One week during the 2011 high season in Hilton Head SC.  Choose from April 2nd or April 9th for the start of your week in a 2br condo in the Shipyard Plantation.   Take a very short walk to the beautiful beach or ride a bike.  The unit is next door to the pool and tennis courts.  AND ...your stay includes free golf everyday for 4 people!  The nicest time of the year on Hilton Head, just ask the pros who are playing just down the ocean a bit at The Heritage. $1400
7.  Enjoy a week in a 4 Bedroom, 4 Bath house 100 yards from the beach in beautiful Wild Dunes SC.  This house is loaded with wonderful amenities including your own home theater, designer kitchen and wireless internet.  There are 2 Fazio courses, tons of tennis, pools, fishing, boating etc all close by and you are only 20 minutes from historic Charleston. 8.  One week in a 3 bedroom Claybrook Condo (THIS CAN BE USED FOR NEXT YEARS PETERS FUND RACER EVENT!!!!).  Enjoy all that Claybrook and Sugarbush have to offer in a luxurious penthouse condo located at the base of the mountain in the recently finished Claybrook complex. One bedroom has a king, one has 2 queens and 1 has 2 sets of bunks.  Week to be mutually agreed upon with the owner (04/01/10 to 04/01/11) but not to include the weeks of MLK and Presidents Day.   What a spot for a family ski vacation.  Tom Guba will be most accomodative and will be happy to figure out a week that works.  $5000
9.  Two Celtics tickets to a game during the 2010-2011 season.  Drew Hurley has donated two seats in Sec 14, row A seats 5 and 6 (not to include the Lakers or whatever team Shaq is playing on) to a game to be worked out with him.  These seats are on the floor across from the Celtics bench but they're not courtside (they're off to the side). $250
10.  Two tickets to the RED HOT CELTICS.  You and a friend will be sitting right behind the bench (Sec 22, Row 10, Seats 3 & 4) while you take in the March 31st against the Oklahoma City Thunder.  You'll be able to let Paul Pierce know what you're thinking.  Donated by our good friend Ed Ingalls $500
11.  Four Red Sox Tickets to a warm weather game. Drew Hurley of The Arthur Hurley Co. has once again donated 4 awesome seats to a Red Sox game. In the 15th row right behind home plate the seats dont get much better than these. Pick a game, either weekday or weekend (Yankees and inter-league games excluded), and we'll see if the tickets are available. Game availability is subject but feel free to check before bidding if you would like.  Drew is a great guy and will bend over backwards to make a date work. $700
12.  RED SOX vs. Oakland A's Thursday, June 3rd (1:35 start): take in the Sox game from  Box 141, Row GG, Seats 1&2, third base side, looking down the first base line. Thanks to Jim Newton, we have two seats for what will be an enjoyable afternoon. $250
13.  Walter Donovan has donated 4 Red Sox tickets vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers Sat 6/19--THE RETURN OF MANNY!!!!   This is sure to be a raucous good time with chants for our (formerly) favorite hitting machine.  They're in the State Street Pavillion right behind home plate, a wonderful spot to take in a Sox victory. $900
14.  Walter Donovan has donated ANOTHER 4 Red Sox tickets vs. the Angels on Tues Aug 17th (or if you'd rather have another game, Walter will work with you).  Same location as the item above.  Come watch Lackey beat up on his former battery mates and the Sox avenge their '09 playoff loss. $900
15.  Learn to Rock Climb at Metro Rock.  This package for four will teach you all you need to know about rock climbing in this state of the art climbing gym just north of Boston.  The package includes: 
--Daily Rate for 4 people of any age (families with children or a group of four adults)
--Basic Safety lesson (age limit 14+ for this class) taught by our very own Jay Bruno.  Or if you're already a climber then this could be a two hour private lesson with Jay.
--All necessary equipment for 4 (harness, shoes, chalk bag, and ATC)

33.  A 1.5 liter bottle of Ferrari Carano Cabernet Sauvignon 2006.  With aromas of blackberry syrup, boysenberry, spicy black currant, espresso, and caramel, this wine delights with rich, delicious flavors of Bing cherry, chocolate, toffee and anise. A delicious mid-palate, excellent depth and showy tannins characterize this lovely Cabernet Sauvignon. 
Please stop in to visit Joan at the Waitsfield Wine shop on your way into town.  On your right as you first enter Waitsfield.  A beautiful store and a generous supporter.
34.  A 1.5 L bottle of Ferrari Carano Tresor 2005. This is the maker's Bordeaux blend ( Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot, Malbec and Petit Verdot)Delicious aromas of ripe blackberry and currant from the Cabernet Sauvignon pair with the provocative notes of boysenberry and cherry cobbler from the Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc.With a full bodied and richly-textured tannin profile, this blend exudes a concentrated palate of intense red and black berries,cinnamon, chocolate, espresso, and vanilla.Upfront silkiness and roundness make for a delicious wine now and will drink well for 7-10 years.  Donated by our friends at Waitsfield Wine Shoppe. $225
35.  A 1.5 liter Bottle of Siena 2007 a Sangiovese based blend.  Siena is supple and ripe with delicious fruit aromas of red and blackberry preserves complemented by cinnamon, mocha and cedar. Juicy black cherry, raspberry jam and fresh mint create a vibrant palate that is rounded out by a smooth finish of caramel and spice. Excellent red fruit vitality is met by lively acidity, supple tannins and a lingering finish.  If you want to learn more about the wine, stop in and talk to Joan at The Wine Shop in Waitsfield who has graciously donated the wine to our cause. $175
36.  2 bottles of Arcadian Santa Lucia Highlands Chardonnay: Greenish gold. Ripe tangerine and peach on the nose, with a bright mineral undercurrent adding energy. Round and spicy, with deep but brisk orchard and pit fruit flavors. 37.  2 bottles of Arcadian Pinot Noir "Sleepy Hollow Vineyard" Santa Lucia Highlands 2006: A great example of what cool climate Pinot Noir can accomplish. The vines are Martini Clones (for all you
wine geeks out there), which have been used by everyone from Joseph Swan to Talbott. The Pinot is

38.  Harpoon beer for a year.  Enjoy a case a month of any of the core products that this local brewery has to offer.  Winner must coordinate pick up with John Newton (six cases at a time).  Thanks to Charlie Storey at Harpoon Brewery. $450
39.  Lobsters Our friend Pat White, veteran lobsterman and former president of the Maine Lobsterman's Association, will personally pluck a dozen, hand-selected 1 1/2 pound crustaceans (or if you prefer, 10 2lbers) from the clear, clean waters of the Gulf of Maine and ship them directly to you on ice for your summer party. They'll arrive at your door alive and kickin' and just hours from the depths of their former home in the Atlantic. Minimum two week advance notice. 48.  Here's something different.  You know those chairs with the woven thatching you have sitting in your basement? The ones where your butt falls through the seat because the thatching has let loose?   Master-caner and rush seat repairer, Phil Blaisdell of Marblehead, has kindly offered to re-cane two of your chairs and will even re-glue any loose or detached joints.  This service covers any two chairs or rockers--actually any piece of furniture with a woven top, seat or back.  He will even pick up and deliver within a reasonable distance of M'head.  As the Newton Brookfield furniture can attest, Phil is a master craftsman. $150
