Silent Auction Items for the 2004 Event

The 2004 auction was a great success, again raising over $40,000!


1.  Lobsters Our friend Pat White, veteran lobsterman and former president of the Maine Lobsterman's Association, will personally pluck a dozen, hand-selected 1 1/2 pound crustaceans (or if you prefer, 10 2lbers) from the clear, clean waters of the Gulf of Maine and ship them directly to you on ice for your summer party. They'll arrive at your door alive and kickin' and just hours from the depths of their former home in the Atlantic. Minimum two week advance notice. Not valid after September 15, 2004. Sincere thanks to Pat and Patty Fiorelli for the donation. $500
2.  Outfit your child for the slopes with one small blue UVEX helmet, a pair of small gray "Hot Fingers" mittens, a pair of small Triple 8 wrist guards, and a pair of youth Leedom goggles. Will fit a child in the 8-10 year old range. Graciously donated by Bertie Holland. $200
3.  Kathie Stevens donates another great day for those people who appreciate the best of golf. This is a chance to play one of the finest courses on Cape Cod, Eastward Ho in Chatham. Kathie is a "6" so bring your best game. $1100

5.  Enjoy a week in a 4 Bedroom, 4 Bath house 100 yards from the beach in beautiful Wild Dunes SC. 8.  Golf with Volp Walpole CC. People, this is not for the faint of heart. You either need to be an All-World Drinker or be tournament tested. This is your basic Steel Cage golf tournament, no holds barred. It's a lot of laughs and won't tie you up for the whole weekend. I beg you not to buy this for one of your customers and stick me with a 26 handicapper who is also a teetotaler, unless of course he's a sandbagger and is really a 12. Along with a thirst you'll need a USGA handicap. The tournament is usually run on the 1st Friday & Saturday in October. David Volpe (Volp), will be hosting. Includes golf, cart, food, liquor, skins, and the money & flight pools. Such a deal (as long as your liver can take it). $600
9.  Bruins vs. the Jersey Devils Sat., April 3 1:00. Four loge seats Sec 5, Row 21 (face value $85). Donated by our friends at First Albany. $450
10.  A one week stay in a 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo at Palmas Del Mar in Puerto Rico. Two great golf courses, 14 restaurants and a sprawling tennis complex. 11.  Our friends at Fischer Skis have kindly donated a pair of Sceneo S200's. These fat carvers are perfect for intermediate through entry-level skiers looking to take their skiing to the next level. Skis on hand are 165's but can be exchange for any length desired (140-175). SRP $400 $300

20.  ESTRADA LES PAUL GUITAR. What we have here is another 60's import blockade knock-off of the famous Gibson SG (Solid Guitar) Jr. originally designed with Gibson Guitars by Les Paul. This is one of the Japanese (in this case made by Suzuki) imitations that caused the import/export blockade back in the 70's. The Japanese were flooding the US market with patent protected imitations that were near perfect copies. The Gibson version was made popular by PETE TOWNSEND and LYNYRD SKYNRD. Many others, including KID ROCK, are using this version today. This Japanese copy SG Jr. is in classic Heritage Cherry Red. It's in great condition, in appearance as well as the electronics.
